Your iPhone app data

Bible Focus’s current version stores study plans, progress, preferences, and optional journal entries in a local database on your device. It has no account system, cloud sync, advertising, reading analytics, or journal analytics. The app does not send your study activity or notes to a Bible Focus server.

You can explicitly export your data as a JSON file through the app’s sharing controls. You choose where that file goes and are responsible for any copies you keep or share. The app’s reset option removes its local user data. Device backups and any files you exported are controlled separately by you and your device settings.

Local reminders are scheduled on the device when you grant notification permission. They do not contain your journal text. Scripture and the study content are bundled for offline use. Development tools used to run a preview build may connect to a local development server; that is separate from the app’s study features.

This public website

This showcase does not offer an online journal, accounts, sign-up forms, advertising, or client-side analytics. It does not read or receive your mobile study data. The screenshots use isolated demonstration data, not a person’s private journal.

Cloudflare hosts this website. Like other web hosting services, it processes connection information such as IP addresses and request details to deliver and protect the site. Website availability checks measure the public site’s response; they do not measure individual reading activity or the offline app.

A project still in development

There is no public iPhone release yet. These notes describe the current milestone. Any future service or distribution change that affects privacy will be documented before it is introduced.
